Playing Statjack™
Cantor Casino Statjack™ is a special version of Blackjack that has been enhanced with on-screen tools to assist you interactively, including counting cards as they are dealt and providing statistics that will help you make better tactical decisions. In addition, there are separate side bets available on the Dealer’s hole card and the final value of the Dealer’s hand.
Statjack™ is played with four 52-card decks. The object of the game is to get more points than the Dealer without getting more than 21 points.
Each Player hand and also the Dealer, is dealt two cards. The Dealer has one card face up and one card face down (the “Hole card”).
Each card has its face value except the Jack, Queen and King, which have a value of ten, and the Ace which counts as the better of one or eleven, depending on the circumstance.
If your first two cards total 21, congratulations! You have a Blackjack and will be paid 3 to 2 on your bet, although if the dealer also has Blackjack, the hand is a "Push" - you do not win but you don’t lose.
If the total of your first two cards is less than 21, you can Hit, Split, Double Down, or Stand.
If you want another card, press Hit and the Dealer will deal you an additional card. You Hit when you feel your hand needs more points to be competitive. But if that next card takes you over 21 points, you “Bust” and lose.
Choosing to Stand means you're satisfied with your cards. Once you have finished playing all of your hands, the Dealer’s hand will be played out and then you will see whether you have won or not. The Dealer must draw on a hand total of 16 or less. If the total is 17 or more, the Dealer must stand, unless it is a Soft 17, in which case the dealer must hit.
The cards are "cut" after shuffling, and the cut card is placed at a random spot in the shoe. The shoe is reshuffled after the cut card is drawn from the shoe.

Special Features of Statjack™
Statjack™ provides a wealth of information about the progress of play, which helps to give you a winning edge over normal Blackjack games.
When you are deciding which betting option to make (Hit, Stand, Double or Split), look for the green light on one of the buttons. This indicates the Basic Strategy, based on a full shoe. If you prefer to count cards to help you predict the outcome of the game, you'll find the following statistical features very useful.

The Card History (the panel on the left of the game window) displays the cards that have been dealt. The most recently dealt card is displayed at the top of the screen. The Dealer's face-down card is displayed as a green "?" until it is revealed. The Card History is cleared when the deck is shuffled, which is not until the cut card appears. |

The Hand History (the panel on the right of the game window) displays the results of the most recent hands. The Dealer's hands are under "D", and your Player hands are under "P". If you play more than one hand at once, each hand is displayed on a separate line. The most recent hand is displayed at the top of the screen. When the cut card is dealt, it is represented by a blue square in each column. |

The Card Tally is a strip that runs along the bottom of the screen. It tallies the number of cards of each value remaining in the shoe. The cards are listed from Aces to the 10-value cards, from left to right. The number above each card shows the value that your hand would have if you drew a card of that value. The number on the right of each card is the number of cards of that value remaining in the shoe, and below each card is the percentage of cards of that value remaining in the shoe. Please note that the dealer's face-down card is not counted in this tally, since its value is not known until it is turned over. |

When you hold your pointer over one of the betting options such as Hit or Stand, some helpful statistics will appear for that betting option. Based on the number of cards remaining in the shoe, the Player Statistics pop-up displays the likelihood of the next card either busting or improving your hand. In addition, it displays the percentage of other players who have chosen that option in a similar situation. (To be more precise, it displays the percentage of players who have chosen that option given the same player and dealer hand values, where that play option is available. Hard and soft hand values are treated separately.) It's worth noting that these statistics for a Split apply to both new hands at once. So the probability that a Split will improve the hand should be read as the probability that splitting will create two hands that are both better than the current hand. |

The Dealer Statistics pop-up is displayed when the cards have been dealt but the Dealer's face-down card has not been revealed. Based on the number of cards remaining in the shoe, it displays the likelihood that the Dealer will need to draw a 3rd card, as well as the probability of achieving 17, 18, 19 or 20 when the hole card is turned over. |
Side Bets After you have played out your hand, and even if your hands have all bust, you have the opportunity to place optional side bets on the Dealer's hand, as described below: |

You can bet on the Dealer's total hand value by clicking on one or more of the BET buttons on the Dealer Hand Total pop-up. |

You can also bet on the value of the Dealer's hole card by clicking on one or more of the BET buttons on the Dealer Hole Card pop-up. |
When you have placed your optional bets on the Dealer’s total hand value and/or the value of the Dealer’s hole card, click CONTINUE, and the Dealer’s hand will then be played out.
Return to player percentage
All game outcomes are randomly determined.
The theoretical Return To Player percentage (RTP%) of Statjack™ using Basic Strategy is 99.18%.

Lost Connections
If you become disconnected during a game and the game was incomplete,
you will automatically be presented with the unfinished game next time
you successfully sign in and re-enter the game.
If your internet connection was lost prior to our system recording your
initial bet, then no game will be played and the bet amount will not be
deducted from your casino account.
The results of all recent games can be checked in your account statement.
Select My Account and then Game History after you log into the casino.
Discontinued Game
We reserve the right to discontinue offering this game at any time. When a game is discontinued players will not be allowed to start a new game. Players will have 30 days to complete any unfinished games. After 30 days of a game being discontinued all wagers of an unfinished game will be returned to the player and the game will no longer be accessible.
Malfunctions
If a malfunction in the gaming system is detected, all pays and plays that may have been affected will be void.
Losing your internet connection is not considered a malfunction in the system.
During maintenance and upgrades some games may be temporarily
unavailable, although their icons may still be displayed in the game
selection menu.

Blackjack Glossary
Split
If your first two cards are of equal value, such as two nines, or even two unlike face cards, you have the option of Splitting. Splitting separates the two equal cards into two separate hands and automatically places an additional bet equal to your original wager. In effect, you now have created two hands from one, each of whose first card is 1/2 of the original hand. Should the next card be the same again, you may split into a third hand. You now play out each hand. Note that if you decide to split aces, you will only be dealt one additional card per new hand. If you then get a ten value card (i.e. your hand totals twenty one), this is not a Blackjack. If you win you will receive even money for your bet, not 3 to 2.
Double Down
After being dealt your first two cards, you have the option of Doubling Down on your bet by clicking the Double button. Doubling down doubles your bet, and requires you to draw one more card only. You may Double Down after having already previously split cards.
Insurance
If,
after the cards are dealt, the dealer has an ace showing, you will have
the option of taking "insurance" on each of your hands. Insurance lets
you protect your bet against the possibility that the dealer has
blackjack. You have the option of "insuring" your original bet by
betting an amount equal to half the amount of your original bet. If the
dealer does, in fact, have blackjack, you win your insurance bet at
odds of two to one. If the dealer does not have blackjack, you lose
your insurance bet and continue with the hand.
